TIP #1. There's a button at the top of the page (right between the FAQ and MEMBERS buttons) named "UCP". That's your "User Controll Panel". From there you can set up your account how you want it. You can add your avatar, send and recieve private messages, add friends, change your password, change personal info, and ect.

TIP #2. If you are having a problem, or you have a question, then check out the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section. You may be able to find immediate help with your problem.
